You can always tell inteligent people, they post facts about Electrons, protons and Florentines .

I have to resort to facts about bloody beetles ......:o

I don't think florentines mark one out as intelligent. ;) Unless the Florentine in question is my DH, not my biscuits. :o

what were people doing for the intervening 50 years to get food out?

I think I read my fact in a Bill Bryson book. But if it makes me sound intelligent, then I'm happy... ;)

If you're in to facts, easy reading and being really well entertained then Bill Bryson's 'A Short History of Nearly Everything' is a great book. I'm sure proper scientists would find a lot wrong with it, but as a page-turner it's second to none. I loved it.

I'm sure the economies of breast enlargement must be correlated with a recession?

    Or house prices.

    Or something

Simple vanity and The Rules of The Mating Game....nothing heavy or deep in it I am afraid.
The anti ageing obsession is rooted in ancient history though....like Greek tales of immortality etc.

A girl started talking to me last week about which one/region/year I prefer and I was like "to be honest I only started drinking it because it was pink and then I got used to the taste":rotfl:
