Thanks Lorraine. I see that tour is only 30 mins and I think that would be far too short. I would rather pay more for a longer tour.

I have been swithering about going back the last few trips, but haven't really thought about it seriously. I did price it a year or so ago and I think it may have been a similar trip to the one above as it was about $425 per person.

However the OH has mentioned it for the first time this trip so we may look into doing it.

Flying in a chopper doesn't bother me. I have done it before, but that was out in the North Sea to go offshore. However I didn't have the thermals to contend with there!

The chopper flights only go to the West Rim and some say it is not the GC proper. We did the South Rim last time, but I don't think we saw it at its best as we flew at midday when the sun was directly overhead.

We decided against it in the end because like you I don't think 30mins is long enough....there is another one lasting an hour that works out at £236.96 for the 2 of us here http://www.papillon.com/popris/show_package.aspx?package_id=5&lang=en-US#.....but if you look at the itinerary they don't pick you up or drop you off at your hotel.....so if you add the cost of getting to and from the airport then it doesn't work out to be a cheap deal after all

I'm wondering if has gone through now....as confirmation email can take anything from 3-5 days it leaves us a bit tight for printing off as we will be leaving home on Tuesday

I used them for Donny and Marie tickets and had no problems.

I would suggest calling them. It only costs 0.5p-1p/min using the International Call Checker on here. I phoned them with some questions before I bought the tickets and they were very helpful.

I think my confirmation came through within a couple of hours.

You don't need the confirmation to pick up the tickets, but you will need to know if the transaction went through.

No the IP doesn't have coffee makers. In fact very few Vegas hotels have coffee makers in the room.

    hello everyone!

just a quickie! ive booked through expedia - belfast (with bmi) to heathrow, heathrow to vegas (with ba)

i was thinking of booking an extra case for the way home, so that if we (the 4 adults) have extra items we can share an additional case home.

any ideas on how i go about booking this? and if i have to book bmi & ba separately?

    many thanks

I was just looking which one to register with and did a bit of reading on the MSE international call related forum

I'm with Skytalk and guess what I found

    "Indirect Access Calls
Sky Talk Customers on the Sky Voice and Broadband Network can not make calls using a prefix number to access a different telephony provider (known as Indirect Access Calls). "

So seems like I'll be billed for the full cost anyway....I'm just going to look up my past bills to see what they charged me when I called MGM
