JuneNice one WestHamDaz, sounds fun!
May very well have walked past you as we were in Vegas at the same time, and down at MB one day while you were staying there!
Ellis Island does sound good. We had it recommended to us while we were there too for the BBQ. Will head over there next time we are in Vegas.0 -
MarchEnjoyed the report WestHamDaz, and looks like you got a few winners too. Like you, we saw Love from the very last row and thought that the seats were superb. I virtually became an overnight Beatles fan after watching that show :rotfl:Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0

the bungalow's don't come with a spa, let alone a terrace --> the bungalow suites are identical to the celebrity spa suite just without the 'spa' apparently
good trip report anyways!cheers!

My seat recline was stiff and worked as long as you really pushed hard on the seat to recline and get upright again. However this plane was still nowhere near as bad as some that I have been on.
Didnt it have the purple leather upholstery? That refit cant be more than a couple of years old.illegitimi non carborundum0 -
JuneYea I would go Virgin again, Ive still got a few thousand miles knocking about so if circumstances allow I'd not worry about going with them in Economy if PE was too expensive. 2 days after flying back from Vegas with Virgin i was on a BA 747 to cape town, again, in economy and right at the very back, on the end of the middle block of 4. To be honest it wasnt too different to the virgin flight. Legroom not great for me. Service from the crew was fine, drinks were frequently offered, food was cack though, and basically it was 90% full of lads going to the game so we spent many hours chatting about football and drinking up at the back of the plane, it was like a pub at 34000 feet! But getting back to the point, there was very little difference between BA 747 and Virgins 747. The Virgin plane had Red PE upholstery and IIRC purple extra legroom seats on the way home, which looked newer, cleaner and less saggy compared to the PE bubble on the flight out.
NVH - yea sorry I meant the terrace suite. Nice room, but for another $1400 (and without a spa outside) I couldnt justify it as Id rather have spent it on other things.0 -

Septemberflew it in 2008 . this route uses the new Airbus A340-600 which are very good IMO . good seat pitch , comfy seat , luxury of 2 seats on their own (2-4-2 layout) , excellent IFE , good staff .
Probably one of the best long haul flights we have took , but we do value those 2 seats on their own , i might not have such fond memories if we were in the 4 seats .
Thanks for putting my mind at ease! Luckily I booked it a while back and got decent seats towards the rear of the plane. Window seat outbound, aisle seat it the middle section coming home (which is a 2-3-2 at the rear)0
