bah, just tried to ring but reservations are only open between 6am and 11pm... i hate having to be patient! ;)

i tried a couple of different dates and it would let me book so there's obviously some sort of bug with the specific dates i'm looking at (as it does say they're available and it does say that I can book them)

I was wondering if you could let me know how much a 1.75l bottle of Jack Daniels and how much a 750ml bottle of Smirnoff Vanilla Vodka is is in Duty Free (Terminal 2) @ McCarran  if anyone could let me know it would save me the hassle i went through 'last trip' (long story)

As re: the booking @ Wynn / Encore... I was going to go for encore, but it keeps 'resetting' back to the main page every time i select my dates and press the 'book' button against the room type :( tried in two different browsers now.

I have tried to book without any code at all and it works fine... looks like I may have to ring :(

.... why are you doing this to me Mr.Wynn!!!

Funny how it will let you book without the code. I had the same problem trying to book Terry Fator tickets. TicketMaster wouldn't recognise my log in with the discount link, but let me in without it. I just called and still got the discount.

Have put a reminder in my phone to check the prices at Duty Free so hopefully I will remember.

re housekeeping - we left the room at Encore relatively late our first morning - we're normally out quite early and ours is one of the first rooms to be cleaned - and had had the privacy sign on until then...were somewhat surprised when we came back to the room about 7 and it hadn't been cleaned but thought oh well, there are still enough clean towels and it's not that big of a deal and decided we couldn't be bothered to call about it...went out again around 8:30 and came back to the room about 1:30 in the morning and it had been cleaned in the interim. I was really surprised. I thought we'd missed the cleaning run completely.

today's Groupon is one we're considering (thanks again Luci for posting the site originally).

    http://www.groupon.com/las-vegas/

$75 for a Two-Hour Eldorado Canyon ATV Tour and Gold Mine Visit with Adventure Las Vegas ($159 Value)

note that this one is 2 hours and you drive yourself to the starting point...there's another one they offer that's longer and has pick up from the strip...this is the tour that the Groupon covers.

I also meant to say that we did the Mystery Adventures tour again (via Groupon) and it was great again. It was totally different to the last one and we agreed this one was harder than the last (so anyone who's gone before and is worried it will be too easy - I don't think it's a concern). The production values were higher this time too...hard to expand on that without giving anything away. :)

Anyone looking for car hire, Auto Europe have some cheap deals at the moment. I've just booked 10 days, intermediate car, pickup San Diego, drop-off Vegas for £192.61, with 8.5% Quidco bringing it down to £176.24.

As a comparison, USRentacar came in at £260 and carhire3000 was £200.82 but no Quidco cashback.

EDIT: Just to add, the bookings are also fully refundable should you need to cancel for whatever reason (the car is from Dollar)

That looks a good price, did you compare with netflights and or carhire3000, for my dates in aug they come out more expensive than both, thanks anyway
