What break, am I missing something?

Perhaps 'break' was the wrong word as everyday is the same for me but for others, they will be going on holiday over Easter.

Floxxie, can you list for 5 or 7 days that will take you up to next Thursday, then have a break for Easter and list after Easter. I'm going to cancel my Shop now and just do auctions for my stuff and forget the BIN's.

You could always start some to finish after Easter.

Thanks tmd. Will work hard tomorrow to get plenty more listed.

Agree on the ebay front; it has changed so much over the years but there's no viable alternative and if I hated it that much, I would have listed my stuff a long time ago ;)

TMD, hopefully your new stock will be ok. It's always 1 step forward 2 back isn't it. It was you who won the £100 in Iceland wasn't it?
I forgot that easter was coming up. When do the kids break up?
Hope everyone gets listed what they want to & sell, sell, sell

Yes it was me, the vouchers should come tomorrow hopefully.

My kids break up next Thursday at midday.

I think the new stuff is OK, will wait a while and list in about a month or so, I think it's OK as it's the same as other sellers have and I can't see any 3 lions logo on them.

    Hello all!!!

Made another £50 on home items over the last couple of days so i am pleased with that. Have updated my totals! Have sold 73 home items this year so far :j

Well done to everyone who is making money.

TMD i hope you manage to get your items sorted out! Ebay can be such a pain sometimes

Finally put my debt totals in my signature! Makes it seem a bit scarier though! Should have enough to clear Next this month!! Woohoo! :j

I can see why people get tempted into debt. My DF started an IVA in Feb 2004. Payments were over 5 years but we lived with MIL for a while and managed to pay it of in 4 years. However stays on his credit for 6 years so last month his credit is now clear. He is now fantastic with his money really (with the exception of boys nights and camping holidays with his mates!) He applied for a credit card to start building up his credit - they have given him £3100 limit straight off and now companies are writing to him offering credit cards. Crazy really. I stood behind an old lady (like 80!) at the bank the other day and the cashier was really trying to push a credit card onto her! She kept insisting it would be handy to have! The old lady stood her ground saying she didn't need one but i was taken back by the pushy nature!

    I hope everyone is well!

Littlekel well done on your selling, that will be a great feeling when you pay off next.
Banks are carp aren't they, when my daughter bought her first place she was bombarded with offers of loans, some that said she was pre-approved for £25k, whether she would have got that amount I don't know, luckily she wasn't tempted.
TMD hope your new stock is ok, it's a shame that none of the other alternatives to ebay have taken off as they know that they've got the sellers by the throat, if you want to sell online. I wonder if a co-operative website would work. People list their own stuff & are responsible for their own pages within the website. Everyone involved has to pay x amount per page or listing to cover all costs. Then not so much would have to be listed on ebay as each sale would have a pointer to the website. HMMMM, now I'm thinking. I need another cup of tea. A blog, twitter etc.
Anyone else think it;s a damn good idea?

  • Seems a little quite here....

Not good TMD, things like that are so annoying espically when there are so many other products!

Sold my first item in March before my auctions even end, a new top which i had relisted with a £5.00 start price and someone asked me for a buy it now, so i added one for £10 and she bought it straight away! Pleased as its been on before and not sold, yay!

Plus i listed 5 more things last night, did intend to do a few more, however got distracted sorting my packaging shelf, at least now when i open the wardrobe bubble wrap won't fly at me.

On a less positive note i have TWO 10% off ebay vouchers, which i'm really tempted to spend on worthwhile purchases (ie: thingS i want not things i need)....i must try to resist

Hope everyone has a productive selling weekend!

Sorry to hear your trouble with the clothing TMD,

I now have a poor compliance against me till June for something silly I did without thinking, I listed a box set of dvds as, as new, which round where I live means in as excellent condition as you would buy if new, and I got picked up for keyword spamming. Now Im paranoid about every listing I do in case i inadvertanly make a mistake
