  • Watched Eastenders earlier, put kids to bed and just had DD3 with me and I started nodding off, OH came in about 9.30pm and I've been lying on the settee ever since.

Russian Federation person bought the item and has paid so hopefully they are OK.

mrscmr - I don't twitter or use Facebook, have enough to keep me occupied with kids, MSE, Ebay and my other forums I use, just don't think I'd have time to do anything else.

Hi all, can I please join your club. I've been ebaying on & off for several years but need to get motivated to do more. I like buying & at times I feel that it is like selling a kidney when I have to let things go. As I can't get into the spare room, or to my bedroom window to open the curtains, or the wardrobe & I don't remember my bed being this high when I first bought it, or the cupboard under the stairs or the shed or shut the loft hatch. I think that it may be about time I get down to business. I can't even blame anyone as I live alone, or at least I think I do, however there could be a missing tribe in the house.

  • Advice needed please.

OK, I had a grey card from the PO yesterday saying that I had a package that they couldn't deliver because the sender didn't pay full postage, so there is a charge of £2.08, £1.08 for the package and £1 handling fee.

I am expecting some CD's and also someone was returning a swimming costume that I sold on Ebay that they said didn't fit and wanted to return for a refund, they did it through Ebay (rather than e-mailing) so I ticked to say I would accept a return and give a refund.

I just rung the Sorting Office to see if they could tell me what it was, she said there was no return address and that it was in a black bag (probably a bin bag) and that it felt like clothing. So I am assuming the person had sent the swimming costume back and not put any postage on it so that I have to pay. So what would you do? Refund the cost of the costume plus the original postage still, or would you deduct £1 (the handling fee), it's a cheek if they didn't pay the postage. Or would you just refund the cost of the item and not the postage as there was nothing wrong with the item they said it didn't fit, so not my fault that they didn't check measurements first.

PS. This is my Business account not my personal account.

  • For those with Businesses what is your Returns policy? I know there are certain 'rules' regarding returns but am not sure what to put (want to change mine after this latest thing), I have just put that I accept returns within 14 days (I think as a Business you have to give them 14 days but I've seen some big sellers saying 7 days still).

Will go and post on the forums in a minute and see what advice I get back.
