  • Final totals for January - profit only (excludes p&p + charges) 293.27. So have managed Jan and Feb in one go - well pleased with that.

Mummy2mygirls - Belfast counted as part of us (all N Ireland is) so postage just the same.

I used to get confused when someone in Ireland bought something from me but I've realised that if their address has a postcode its normal mail and without needs to go Airmail (or similar) which helps me recognise which is which

    Thanks for the interest jaynemarie:)
Managed £99.00 today but still behind and now need to make some items as well - love the money but hate making and packaging up.
Need people to be payed and then they will spend, spend, spend.
Also thinking of selling for others for a fee/share of profits anyone else do this? How does it work for you?

Do you takeout the ebay fees & paypal? l was looking at doing this as someone has approached me to sell some items for them- not sure if this is something l would want to do as any bad feedback about the item would be down to me also if it got lost in the post who would be responsible(claimimg from the PO is like pulling hens teeth).
l have told my friend l will set her up her own ebay account and paypal account but l will manage if for her(for free as she pleads poverty- but seems to spend alot more than me!)she has until the end of Feb to gather up all her items to sell.

  • Gina I'm sorry to hear about your handbag - hope the insurance pays out soon.

Mrscmr - your mouse story reminds me of something that happened to my friend.... Her student house had a terrible mouse problem; she was tidying up in the front room one day and fluffing the sofa cushions and she found a flat mouse under one of the cushions - eew!

I'm off work again with the most horrible cold - I was off yesterday too. Am feeling a bit guilty about not doing any ebay listings but tbh my brain is a bit frazzled and I'm not sure if I could type a coherent listing at the moment!

I've had someone ask if they could collect one of my items as they live nearby. I'm ok with this but - is it safer to get them to pay by paypal or pay by cash on collection? I've forgotten which one is the safest.
