  • I would say cash on collection is better as they could pay with Paypal, pick it up and then file a claim as not received and you have no proof that they picked it up so Paypal would file in the buyers favour.

  • Aaahhh mrscmr, you have lots of useful information to give.

I'm just listing my stock that came today and am trying to do the Variations as I have the same item in lots of sizes, not sure if I've done it right so will have to upload it and see as the preview only shows me the categories and the description not how the listing will look.

Have a few to do like this too.

  • Right, have started my attempt at ebay. Have photographed, cropped and compressed, read stuff about P&P and will list 5 items tomorrow if it kills me. I just cant see that I will ever be very excited about this. Maybe when some money comes in from it.

Gina, sorry to hear about your bag. I had a bag stolen from me and about a month later I received a letter from police saying lost property had my bag. They didnt connect it with the theft report of same bag. Money taken out and bag tossed so I got everything else back. Near to where I live I have found bags that have been thrown in river after money taken out. Also when something is stolen locally people check out the local cycle paths to see if they can retrieve what might be left of their item.

Is there anywhere like that near you? With hedges or overgrowth? It might be worth going for a walk and have a look just in case yours has been quickly ditched once money taken out.

That's the badger - thank you for that :)
  • Yes I opened my shop yesterday, still got to go through and put the things in the right categories.

I'm selling girls swim suits, some Disney Princess pyjamas and some Character boys tracksuits, some clothing I picked up in the sales plus odd bits and pieces that I had left over from last time.
