• Just a quick question re ebay shop. I know you pay a monthly fee but do you also pay to list each item?

  • Hi Captainspam

Yes, you pay 20p for BIN's compared to 40p for people who don't have a shop, one of the things I like about a Shop is it has holiday settings so you can put a notice on your listings or hide them so they can't be seen (this applies to BIN only).

I think it's only worth the basic shop if you list 75+ items a month, you can also do Good Til Cancelled listings so that if you have 20 items the same and you sell 10 then it will relist the 10 that are left rather than listing 20 again.

I'm going to be opening my Business Shop in a little while got to sort my office out first as I can't move in here and the desk is full of junk.

Thank you. Im really interested in opening a shop so will be asking for more advise in the future.

What im doing now is seeing if the items i have are selling first then if they do i will do the shop. My husband has access to wholesalers through work so thought it would be a good buisness for me at home.

Hi all. Got a lieu day from work as I worked on Saturday - a whole day to myself!! Hubby at work and son at nursery, love them to bits but it's nice to have time to myself once in a while! Have listed 40 items this morning so I'm up to 94 listed in total, going to crack on with it this afternoon too so hopefully I can get Feb off to a good start. Must plod on but will check in later x

Hurray, eBay are removing the free p&p requirements (but are bringing in maximum postage limits)

the existing free P&P policy will be removed and replaced with maximum limits to Postage & Packaging charges from 8 February 2010.
