Yup thats correct, no 3g. Going from a Curve to a Bold 9700 without a price increase is going to be hard. £5 more per month and it could be possible imo. What deal have you been offered anyway, and for how much?am i right that the curve has no 3g.. making the bold much much better? I have been offered the curve on retentions, whats the cahnces of me convincing them to let me have the bold? or maybe the HTC HD2?0 -
18month contract, orange retention offer 9they reckon I have built up £400-500 loyalty)
£15 pm
800 min
800 text
unlimited landline
unlimited internet
Blackberry Curve 8900
If they wont re negotiate for the bold I was going to try my luck with HTC HD20 -
In reply to my own thread - for others searching...
Best deal I can find is with Orange. You can put the blackberry on a pay as you go for £5.00 per month. This included either 250 or 500Mb internet per month as well.
Given how many calls I lame my bill we be going from £20ish per month to £7ish.
Happy days,0 -
Orange are great, aren't they.0

curve has no 3g but i have had 3g phones and with the curve you wont notice it not having it unless you absolutely must have video calls, which to be honest are overratedthings arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back then

rather peeved that I did not notice they dropped off unlimited landline from first offer and so called back and said that i had dropped 400 min, 300 text AND paid extra £5 per month in order to have the bold over the curve and that not giving me the landline min was disappointing.. they are not budging so far so have said I will return the phone when received...0 -

I know I am over the moon.. I did however lower myself to.. "please dont make me beg" and "I have a tear in my eye" and "my husband will be so annoyed with me"... this all being after another phonecall previous that was less fruitful.. I just kept calling back until i heard a nice voise I could persuade.. just have to stick with it!!0
