Just got off the telephone from M & S 'customer services' after they finally decided to acknowledge my emails etc. I was told that no way was I entitled to a refund of any of the excessive delivery charges and that delivery costs were all in the terms and conditions for everyone to read and agree to. Even though some very small orders were sent out due to OOS situations basically its tough and that I had probably made up for it by getting the sales stuff cheap in the first place. So those who have had refunds - good on yer!! I have just cancelled most of my orders BUT was actually told theres probably not much left anyway and the 'sale' was nearly over so not much chance of getting anything. I cited the ease of BHS, Debenhams web sites etc and said that M & S is shoddy to say the least. It would also seem that a hacker or somebody was able to get into the system thereby @*@*..ing things up and causing the fiasco with the sofa's chairs etc but managed to get a refund by way of apology for my 'chair and footstool'. What a joke for a company like M & S. I sincerely hope you guys get some good stuff - I've had enough.

I just had a real problem getting a delivery charge refunded. My order was for 14 items, and I am only receiving 5 items. Eventually the agreed to refund the charge, but it was very hard work. I think it all depends on which customer service agent you get at the other end of the phone.
