What are you all having for dinner tonight? Any suggestions for tomorrow?

What are you having tonight - New Years Eve dinner & tomorrow New Years day.

I want to do something from my hairy Bikers book & was planning something fattening before we have to be good in the new year:o

Somerset Chicken http://www.goodtoknow.co.uk/recipes/396167/Hairy-Bikers--Somerset-chicken

Followed by Nigellas Easy Sticky Toffee Pudding

http://www.nigella.com/recipe/recipe_detail.aspx?rid=263

Probably have a roast tomorrow, but would like to do something more adventerous:D

With Raspberry Bakewell Pudding by the Hairy Bikers for pudding

Or do you think the Bakewell would go better with tonights & the sticky toffee tomorrow.

What are you all having for dinner tonight?
Any suggestions for tomorrow?

DH suggested Jamies Shoulder of Lamb (again:rolleyes:).

Tonight I have decided to use up the last of the buffet food, spring rolls, quiche, prawns, mini pizza's, crisps, dips, humous, profriteroles, mini doughnuts etc, DD is coming home for NY & bringing friends to stay.

As for NYD I have not even given it a thought, I feel really mean now but I am feeling poorly with a cold & chesty cough. I have king prawns so could do a stirfry & chicken for DD.

I'll be seeing in the New Year (hopefully, ear plugs and fireworks permitting!) asleep in my nice warm bed :D

I don't remember the last one I stayed up for - it's always seemed such a pointless thing. But don't let my bah humbug-ness put you off!

I was planning a mini-roast dinner tonight - chicken breast ('cause that's what's in the freezer) done on the George Foreman and roasties/parsnips/carrots and sprouts. Mainly because that'll make wonderful bubble and squeak tomorrow :T

(Is it wrong to cook something *especially* for the left overs or am I going a bit too OS?!) :rotfl:

our shops are open today (till 4 i think) but shut tomorrow.

We're eating turkey (yes, still!) in a new fashioned disguise.

Don't celebrate NYE, so won't comment on anything special for meals. :)
