Just received my £1 a pair jeans. My current ones are a size 14, I bought three pairs of work trousers just before Christmas, all a size 14 so I ordered the 14 jeans - but they don't even go over my legs arrrghh.
Hopefully by summer they might fitOD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

Tenmah, did they send you a size 14? Lots of folk have received the wrong size.
Mine are too long. Anyone any tips on how to shorten? Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Happy Birthday Sally and Pap, I hope you both have a lovely day xx
My new years resolutions (god are we here again?) same as last year,
lose weight, I lost 30lbs in 2009 another 30 in 2010 would make me back to my very slim old self.
Save money - aiming for 25k

ha me again....
I am being introspective! This year has been a strange year....not had any massive ups or downs. But I have made some very close friendships that have made a massive difference to my life.....and I am thinking my year may have been very different had it not been for the virtual support and friendship I have had.
So for that, I thank you all.....Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

hi - just on my lunch break. Finish at 4 today then all next week off
Happy birthday to Sally, PaP and also Tigtag xxx
My resolutions.....part of me doesn't want to bother as I'll just end up  at myself but anyway....ok............
- Have a manicure each month. I never ever do any beauty stuff. I have nails which grow long but split and are all different lengths. I want to get my nails nice and just treat myself once a month. I also noticed my hands seem to be aging quickly so I am going to spend however much a manicure costs to get my hands lovely and my nails nice looking and sharp
- Not to be in debt at the end of 2010. Weird one perhaps because I'm (currently!) debt free but the car situation is almost 100% going to cause some debt level and I don't want it to linger - and grow, especially if my afternoon job contract ends.
- Not to let my driving fear get any worse, and if possible to grit my teeth and set myself a target of, say, being able to drive 10 miles in any 1 direction by the end of the year.
- to be in a permanent full time job. At the moment, mornings are permanent and afternoon is contract. Then teaching etc on top. I want to get a job which is permanent, even if if means leaving here, I'm weary of all the different jobs and the uncertainty of each month.
- to lose 52 pounds and to have kept it off. I need to lose double that (and some) but that's just a huge mountain so I'm going to try for 1 pound a week totalling a near 4 stone loss over the year.
- sort out relationship. Nuff said really.
- stop being so inflexible for routine. It's almost the last remaining stuff in my head from the Cruella episode and I need to stop being so OCD about routine etc and have a bit of impulsiveness in my life every now and again.
- say 'yes' to opportunities life throws and just seeing where it goes, I did that a couple of months ago and I remembered life was even better if you just take a chance every now and again to the odd curved ball which comes your way
back to work - whoops!!"Stay Wonky":D

...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
Wow BB there's a lot on that list - can you order it into priorities then you wont be too mad if you miss off one or two??0

If anyone has a size 14 to sell of the £1 jeans, I will buy those!Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0
