Ok what shall I say, date was just.........amazing. People might think it weird or think it too soon but I've found my soul mate in life. Arrived to meet him and although having met on Monday and knowing what he looked like I didn't quite expect the total and overwhelming heart in mouth reaction he gave. He looked totally different tonight he arrived with chocolates (knows the way to a girls heart) and then we went for a beautiful walk around upton park. Few drinks and then cinema.....film was, well quite frankly couldn't tell you.

I know it's all very easy to say it's lust and yes there probably is a big bit of that but he has told me he feels the same way and wishes we could have met years ago. There is none of that horrible date game playing, he's upfront, wants to be in our lives not just mine and has already told his family about us.

I was just going to write date was amazing totally smitten but this is my diary after all and if I can't write here how happy I am where can I write it. Thank you Maz how can I ever thank you enough

Oh and btw I have been home since before midnight, it's just as normal I'm awake in the middle of the night!

Yes there's a bit of lust in there somewhere but if it feels right then go for it. I first chatted to DH online 3 days after I'd left my ex, we met 2 weeks later but we already knew it was a lot more than just a casual "see how it goes" kind of thing. Fate has a habit of weaving the paths to make sure you get to where you're supposed to be....the heartache of the last few years will be worth it in the end.

And if anyone dares to comment that it's too soon.....just smile.....they're only jealous

Pooky you have pretty much summed it up there. We have been chatting for a few weeks and when we met it was just formality, we both knew that it wasn't something that was a flash in the pan, although I was so nervous! I'm in the camp of life is too short to pass up true love that is put in your path whether they are the wrong time or not. Being with mm has totally confirmed how non existant my marriage was, he is everything i could dream of and more
