Sally you are a better woman than me. I would have done the binliner full of clothes and !!!! off to your tart.
So glad he has got the bloody job. You can finally start to enjoy yourself without all that weight hanging around.

It's possibly worth doing 'stuff' for him to speed the process up Sal. Not EVERYTHING, but things that you know full well will take him ages to sort. For your own sanity more than to help him.
I had to push all the way for Stu to go to the estate agents, find a house, move his stuff in...I also had to sit with him while he rang the bank and transferred all his direct debits over, then I had to work a budget out for him and tell him how much he had left to spend each week. I had to stand over him while he rang the council, the car insurance people...not to mention the saga of Virgin Media, who it took him 9 months to ring. It really was like spoon-feeding a baby. I find if he has too many things to sort out, he feels overwhelmed and just sort of shuts down and does nothing, so if I made it as easy as possible for him, it avoided that happening.
He stands on his own two feet now though, he's had to learn over the last 12 months or so.
He has no clue about money really, but the advantage of him being a bit autism-spectrum-y is that once he knows the rules, he will stick to them like glue."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
!!!!!! Sal-!!!!!! did he actually DO all day???
Cleary, Sweet FA. Dear god, I may complain about my DH a lot but he is not lazy..
It makes me soooooo bloody cross but as Snags said, may be worth just helping him sort it so he will be out of your hair!Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Hard done by?!!!
Still, things are moving in the right direction, even if you are having to shove.. and you will cope brilliantly with the budgeting as you always do!
Hope today goes well xDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
I will be doing pretty much as you did snags...if it gets him out and me able to move on quicker then its a good thing. He's gone off to sort his mot out on his bike and to buy himself a large rucksack to take his clothes with him on Sunday. I can't bloody wait I tell youI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
