Gosh im more tired than a tired thing from tiredland....yawn
At work until 1pm today then taking B swimming at school, mad dash to tidy house and do a bit of housework, Dr appt and then R coming for supper around 6pm. Have asked numpty ex for money and he is going to transfer today so we shall see...have also asked for some of the April and May money he owes.

Must do some job applications today, need to get a job.....

there are 2 squizz, both Teaching assistant posts, one full time (which would be idea, although not local so would have to travel) and one in r's town at a middle school which is 25 hours a week. Just need to sell myself, unfortunately having never held a TA position as such Im not sure I'll even get an interview. Looks like I haven't even got an interview for that admin job I applied for...bit down about that as I could do the job with my eyes shut

I'm sure you could do that Admin job no problem, get the impression you're much keener on the TA ones though! I find the best way of doing applications is to take each point from the person spec and 'reply' to it saying how you meet it - spell it out to them for each point. If you'd like a second opinion on your applications I'd be happy to read them through... I'm not too bad at them (rubbish at interviews though!)

Oooo I might take you up on that..I always leave it until the last flipping minute, this one has to be in on Friday, although as they are all done through county council website it saves it and you can use what you have previously done. Im rubbish at applications but Ive never not got a job that Ive got an interview for so just need to make sure I get an interview and im home safe and dry

Quite happy to if you want - or if you want a nosey at some of mine I'd send a couple. Once I found a technique and got over the cringe-factor of selling myself, I actually didn't mind doing them!
