BB we have decided that we either need to be here or over in wimborne because stuck in the middle we will have no support network for childcare etc and we would then both have to drive, him to work and me to school/work. It seems that we have kind of decided that I will move his direction to wimborne because actually I think the new start would be good for us and its closer for him to pick up, drop off children and for work which would keep costs down. To find what we need basically estate agents have said we will be looking to pay £900 a month *gulp* which means although R has said he will pay £700 that I need to be able to pay the £200 and contribute to bills etc and to have a life it means realistically working more hours so that I am bringing home £700-£800 a month.

Something will be the catalyst in it all, either I'll get a job and it will be mad rush to get house or we will find perfect house and have mad rush to get any job that brings some money in.

In other news, not much really, had a lovely lovely day in the sunshine yesterday. Met my mum and we went to watch R run a local 10k race then he came back here and cooked AMAZING lunch, Cheese souffle (god it was divine) with salad and roast pots...watched footie (enough said about that lol) and then took B to playpark before collapsing with pimms and a bottle of wine....perfect end to another busy weekend :)

Shame about the house - the perfect one will come along though!

Sounds like a great Sunday, and he can cook too :D

My 3 bed house was £650 a month a couple of years ago...

That's about normal me thinks. Crap about the house babe, I wish we could afford for me to work part time but its just not feasible-and considering DH and I both work more than one job and have the kids, the house etc. Makes me tired thinking about it.

I think unfortunately the reality is these days bun if you want a decent quality of life both parents have to work...or you live entirely off benefits (that doesn't however work when for example R is not the father of B and has to pay maintenance for his 2 which isn't taken into account when they work these things out)

Have done some hill running this afternoon and am totally dead on my feet....it was so so so hot, silly to attempt it but needs must and thats my only time in the day when I can get out child free

I agree Sal-and when I have my debt to pay for.

If I was debt free and didn't work, that would be £600 a month we wouldn't need to have (CCCS payment and childecare!AH!) Sadly, not a possibility and so I best just shut up and get on with my job! Lol!

Is XOH paying anything yet towards B?

He's given me one payment of £200....I shall ask for this month maintenance and some of April & Mays payment too...I desperately need the money as I just want to pay off stupid metropolitan collections.
