Aren't children just amazing....Just told B that R is coming to have supper with us both tonight (much excitement ensues) Is he staying for a sleepover Mummy? Not tonight B, but why I want him to stay for a sleepover. He won't have any pyjamas he's coming straight from work, maybe another day...well he could always sleep naked....

I think R is possibly having a really 'torn' moment between the responsibility he feels to his work (even though he hates where he is, I think being somewhere for a long time makes you feel a weird kind of loyalty, hard to explain), along with the comparison to all the amazing things he is now starting to experience and I think it is hard for them not to 'clash' in the head - you want all the amazing nice stuff - now - but then the misplaced 'loyalty' of what he has had day in day out starts to cloud everything and it's hard to separate it all out and to know what to do.

I was talking to someone I really care about the other day about a similar kind of thing and I really knew where they were coming from as I've experienced the same emotions. It will all be fine, what you two now have is so strong and wonderful, I think he will be able to walk away from his job with your support and he doesn't sound like the kind of person to then just sit back and wait for the next opportunity to come to him or for others to find it for him - he will be positive and find the opportunities.

Sorry, probably talking rubbish, took a tramadol for the first time ever about an hour ago for my back, it's made me feel a bit tired and I have no idea how to get my point across at the moment!!!

I think you pretty much summed it up there bb, when things suddenly become great you do then start to question other areas of your life. He has been there for a long time but can now see another life. He is very very loyal to his job and his other problem is that he wants to be able to provide and give his children/us a good life. He's worried that he might not be able go do that and feels a bit threatened.

Ah well we will talk about it later

Had another lovely evening, talked about job/house/etc and things are ok, no rash decisions will be made but he said its a long term plan over the next couple of years but he wanted me to know that he has no intention of staying there long term and that might affect where we live. Its just nice that he's telling me all this stuff now and can be open about it.

Anyway have saturday evening/sunday to look forward to, will just be nice to spend more than a couple of hours here and there together

B apparently said to R when I was out the room...my daddy doesn't live here anymore, poor thing was a little on the spot with that statement, and then bea most upset when he didn't stay for a sleepover (as am I *sigh*)

Right bed, day off tomorrow and having hair cut ready for party on saturday and then might go for a run

Morning all

Yay its friday, thank goodness and a weekend of nice things to look forward to Won't be at work tomorrow now as ex isn't coming down and I have no-one to look after Bea. Then tomorrow evening have this 40th Party to go to with R and we are staying over in a hotel near the venue so we can stagger back and can have more than 1 drink Sunday we are doing a 10k race around moors valley park, hoping to get a 10k Pb the last one I did was last June and in 1:01:00 so anything quicker than that and I'll be happy!

Have just changed my relationship status from married on FB...ahhh I am waiting for the inlaws backlash and comments. Asked ex to talk to his family and I know one sil knows but I could be waiting months so thought what the hell! Im not married to him anymore, we ARE getting a divorce and I want to move on....

Right haircut at 10am and need to get some shopping and do some chores...would actually quite like to spend the day in bed watching crappy telly!
