Hardest Thing So Far - Flamin' cake
    HL Score: 9/10 for now
Flying Stars (**NEW**): Yay - have just earnt Mondays :j Now up to 6

I'm gonna roll the meal planning over to tomorrow if that's okay, will give me more of an idea of what's still available etc.

Todays BIG news was my British Gas refund of £125 and the £25 per month reduction in DD, which is fabulous news. I haven't updated the Feb spends yet, but will do so shortly. The £125 is going straight into the holidays savings pot(s).

There are 2 running concurrently at the moment. Might have to start up a running total on page 1 for when the money actually hits the bottom of the jar to see how well (or otherwise) we're doing! Am so chuffed though with the saving - ha-ha, there are benefits to having no central heating after all!

OMG, OMG, OMG - I've lost 2lb on the weekly weigh in despite eating all the rubbish - but it's all down to the wonderful FLYING thread!! Ha-ha, if I hadn't stuffed my face, I'd have probably lost 10lb. Am so so so chuffed to bits - I want to bottle this feeling and take it out every time I feel like eating something naughty!

I've taken out the 'Hardest Thing' row because it didn't really add anything as I'm blogging here anyway.

Youth club was about 6/10 - ever rising!!

    My house is gleaming!

Think I've over-extended on the NSD budget, and am now going to struggle to eat the following week - ha-ha, might have to send a friend to go and get all my shopping for me, and pay her back the following day in Feb - errr, I think that's stretching the rules somewhat!!!

Have managed to find loads and loads and loads of stuff for a car boot sale / ebay sales, so am hoping to boost the holiday funds with that. Just need to get the stuff listed now or find a local car boot thing.

I'm finally starting to think i will definitely manage through January now, from the original point of OMG, how on earth. Not without this sites help though it has to be said.

DN's birthday today and no prezzy fm Auntie Ceebeeby ... although he does live 12 hours flight away, am quite gutted. Have got a parcel of things to send over anyway, so will find him a nice something to actually post rather than send money.

Just wanted to pop by and say Hi - you are sooo well organised.
I always think it is a hard month to try and loose weigh - all the xmas chocs hanging round and the dreadful dull days and dark night! I need to lose a stone - but always find I am so tired so I am going to try and stick carefully to my meal planners. I also get tips on the OS board they are fab lol!:)

    Hi pinky,

Thanks for stopping by for a visit, I love and need all the encouragement I can get!! As you can see I'm struggling hugely with the chocolate thing - much more so than the no cigarettes or spending less! I keep dipping in and out of OS, it's helped me hugely and never before have I had such a tidy house or the family eaten fully home-made meals. I'm off to try home-made veggy haggis tomorrow, and to bake a loaf of bread to go with the rubber chicken soup later in the week.

    Thanks again x

Loads and loads of 'extra' jobs today. Including starting to clean outside as well as in. Also cleaned Grans house.

Spent £11.03 on groceries and £10 cashback (the change of which can cover school buses) which was mostly spent on stuff for Grans house.

Am still just under budget for the month though, so feeling okay about this x
