Arghhh, nightmare - totally blew WW by going for a massive Chinese buffet. Started off ok with noodles and brocolli, and then moved on to the deep fried fish; egg fried rice; spring rolls etc. etc. If i said 50 points, I'm probably not a million miles away from it!

Lovely day at MILs though, even if she did pile me high with cakes on the way home!

Chuffed with the weight loss again! I have now lost 5% of my whole body weight since coming back from hols!

Maddest day of the year so far! Up at 5:30 - in work very early, mad inspection day that saw me in sore high heels. Ran to bank to do Mum a favour - 1 hour later as I'm by now hyperventilating and needing to get back, finished work, ran to supermarket, IKEA (Monday meatballs for kids), M&S for currency - home. Welcomed (very much) guests; ran to play park with guests, left them in play park whilst ran to WW - home for meatballs and pasta. Chased guests away, packed suitcase and am ready for the off!

Wow - that was some going x

Fab day - catching up at work. Exhausted and have no plans for the week-end - wow!!! Might go and cycle an island or climb a mountain - not sure which yet.

One of my 2011 New Years Resolutions is going to be to sort through all my digital photographs and get them in some sort of order because they're currently a mess!!!

Yippppeeeee - despite mucho eating at the wedding, and my major ww chocolate bar pig out (now none left of course) managed to lose 2.5 lbs this week. On target for a stone to be gone before singly's hols in a couple of weeks time!!

3 hours walking today on very sore feet. Finally lost one of my bruised toe nails (only 2 more to go!!!), but thank goodness the bright nail varnish hid their hideousness for the wedding sandals - and that it lasted this long! Dunno what to do for hols with my feet though!

Am so tired post yesterday, off to bed soon x

Have booked a family 'mini break' that is so jam packed it's unbelievable. But it's squished with loads of bulked out freebies and cheap family hotel rooms. For example, have got 4 nights accom for £67, totally free tickets to Alton Towers, half price tickets to the Eden Project, National Trust entry to Stonehenge and Glastonbury. Will do picnic food the whole time (well, okay, who am I kidding, there will be fish and chips on a beach somewhere at least once!!) so can keep that low, have asked family to feed us a couple of times. Am so excited.

This is totally unbudgeted, so will need to do some 'claw back' of costs in October - to carry forward for November. Maybe if I could put away the petrol / extra ticket costs that would help, leaving just the food and kiddie spends for November.

This will also tick another box on my life list because amongst all the attractions will be a visit to Lands End (whooopeeeee).

Okay - so not moneysaving, but welcome to my world of vices (which is clearly travelling!!), where I can enthuse everyone so much, they hopefully let me get away with it! Still, none of those evil pesky credit cards! I've actually forgotten what I did with them now seeing as I haven't seen them since last December. Ooooh, that feels good to say that!
