If all you want is to access wifi at home on a mobile device why not just buy an iPod Touch?

At least half the price of an iPhone, has the same browser and wifi capability

thanks, I will look into the ipod touch. I assume its the same as iphone, but without a phone, Correct?

No phone, no camera. I've got one from 1st gen. Love it.

WiFi at home, all the apps, mp3 and video.

But if you just want a small web-surfer for home only use, why not look at a cheap netbook? Some of the really cheap ones are down to £100-£150 or so, same price as cheapest iPod Touch.
  • Accessing wi-fi is a feature of the phone, not the provider. Many phones will do it - Sony Ericsson C905 for example.

If you can get a suitable phone, you can get a PAYG SIM-only deal and have the best of both worlds! That's what I have done - ASDA mobile, with unlimited internet access at home through Wi-Fi. Perfect for checking the weather outside without going to all the bother of opening the curtains...

What does unlimited mean on 3? As usually there is a limit.

    "unlimited 3-3 calls"
    "unlimited texts"
    "unlimited skype"
    "unlimited windows live messenger"

    • Unlimited 3-to-3 calls is 2000 minutes per month
    • Unlimited texts requires a £25 top-up each 90 days, and is 3000 per month
    • Unlimited Skype and WLM is truly unlimited, even with no top up, same for voicemail
    Hope that helps,

    Mark
