Good morning all :) Sun is shining, hope it lasts :)

10ps on the scratchies, and slight wobble on the dieting, started nibbling the cheese last night, but got to be good today, and get back into it again.

Hope the last check on the handbag goes well at lunch time Hypno.

When is DD's dress due to arrive?

Have a good day everyone :)

DD's dress arrived, and it is "ok" but certainly not good enough fabric to be considered party-like. I spoke to OH about it and we have agreed to go halves on something better. Probably not the one she tried on in store, but something in between the two pricewise. It is her birthday the week before the prom, so we can incorporate it as a birthday present, to keep the overall spends down.

Picked up a M/S for Saturday.....only a tiddler but a fairly easy one, so it would be silly to turn it down.

NB - are you going to use the free National Trust voucher thing at the weekend? Saves a *lot* of money. I've printed out four, and am sending the voucher out to anybody I know who won't be offended at the idea that they could save money :)

I've not seen that one - will go and have a look. Is it on the weekly email?

Sorry about the dress! A good compromise to share costs tho.

    Take care.

Pity about the dress, it must have been so disappointing when it arrived. Is it still wearable, or a write off?

Good news on sharing the replacement cost with OH.

I must have it somewhere, Hypno, but my emails got messed around when my main address was accidentally closed down. Could you pm it to me?

It's "ok" so we can make something out of it for "less special" occasions, I am sure. It is also just a bit too big, so will probably be something that we work on for the next batch of parties when she has gone up half a dress size, so it is not a complete write off.

For what I paid for it, we will get some use out of it I am sure, so not the end of the world and certainly worth the risk of buying it.

KC, I have sent you a pm.
