baby steps.......I thought I might have put on a lb so I am mightily happy that I have lost instead.

Excellent! Well done you - isn't it odd, now, that you didn't lose anything while training for the marathon!

I didn't lose anything, but I was certainly slimmer than I am now! Obviously some of my lard became more streamlined.

What is scary, though, is that even though I didn't lose anything while training for the marathon, I put on more than a stone afterwards!!

I was just under 11 stone when I did the marathon. When OH left, I was just under 12 stone. Today I am 11 stone 1lb, so definitely heading in the right direction. I look forward to the scales saying 10 stone something in the next couple of weeks. Then I will be on a mission to get to my healthy bmi

No, I've not got my eye on anything yet.......am going to go for the full handbag experience once I have reached the target weight! If I look before then, I may be tempted to think sod the weight, I'll buy the handbag anyway

and we could be tempted to think s*d it and get a new one too....i know me though i need some motivation to lose weight, normally i am very good, but really really struggling at mo to lose half a stone which i have put on since december...i think i will be better when the sun finally shines and i can think about spring clothes again.... - well that's my current thought:rotfl:

Summer is one of my motivations too, savingmore......at the moment I can't fit into any of my summer stuff......:o
