Sorry to hear about another funeral, Surfbabe, and Mother's Day won't be the nicest, but perhaps it will be a nice time to reflect on the good times with your mum. I know it's cold comfort: two years after my dad died it's still not the greatest time of the year, especially as it was often his birthday on the same day, but I still try to make it as positive as possible. I wish the same to you, even though it will be difficult so soon after her passing.
Take care and big, vinegary kisses. xPlease call me 'Pickle'

There is something to be said, though, surfbabe, for getting one of those yukky dates out of the way early on. It will be another box ticked. You only ever have to do the "first mother's day" once, and you'll get it out of the way early.
Little consolation, I know, though. ((hugs))Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Sorry to hear you're still so cold, I have one of those small pillows you can microwave which seems to help. I could lend you my dog, he's quite warm
Good to hear that the mortgage is going in the right direction as well.
Good luck with WW tomorrow, I feel that I have eaten my bodyweight today

Morning all......half way through the week.....
£10 scratch and a bit of matched betting money reached my bank this morning so that has gone over to the debt/savings pot....and £5 requested from V scratch this morning. St Minver is having maintenance at the mo, so will revisit that later.
I need to do a couple of betting bits later today - not much, but better than nothing.
WW at lunchtime, and skiing this evening. Have a good day everyone!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
