Ho ho ho! (Or should that be Who Who Who?)0 -
OH's redundancy and getting back on mse and especially your thread must have done some good Hypno.
First day the big supermarket has opened since we arrived, and already signed up for the loyalty card (school german did come back) and found the reduced section, not sure if it'sor

Se - finding the reduced section is always a positive start :T
Pepe - I hope you survived IKEA, and look forward to you popping by again
We have been visiting - all OH's family today, so lots of children making lots of noise......but all happy to see each other, so all good. Fish & Chips for lunch because MiL couldn't be bothered to cook, so that was fine by us too...(and they paid, so we have had a NSD today :T) and we certainly don't need anything more than a slice of toast for dinner.
I'm continuing my declutter - but this evening sees my Dad's box of photos getting the treatment, which is not something I am looking forward to doing, but I have made the decision to do it, so do it I will. I think it will be one of those jobs that, once it is done, I will be very pleased to have done it - and it is one that can't only be half done....it is an all or nothing job, and it is going to be completed today.......definitely.
The children got a new wii game from BiL, so they are happy, and at least it is not a present that will overly create more clutter, so on that basis, I too am happy!
Right - coffee and a piece of toast plus a bit of a catch up on here, then on with the job of sorting those photos.....

Yes, it will be emotional but a warm and satisfying "declutter".
Actually, when my sister came over from America at Christmas, she gave my Mum a bound and printed book of her wedding photos. It is really lovely - and slim, so won't take up much room. As it's a nice glossy coffee table book, it will be looked at lots.
She'd done it online at somewhere called MyPublisher I think. No good for me I thought, as my wedding photos were pre-digital cameras, but special ones could be scanned in.
Perhaps you could do something similar to create a memory book, kind of like a family history book. Just a thought0 -

How's it going? Have you found spare photos that other family members might appreciate? Hope you're having regular breaks because this is often the most challenging declutter of all.
