Only 10ps for me today.....still, I won't complain - it all adds up.
Yes, se, my Will is on the list - although I will be waiting until after payday to do it. I have sorted out the "death in service" stuff and pensions related bits though, so am fairly organised where I can be.
One of my days off next week is to be a "paperwork" day - much organising, filing, and jobs that I have been putting off for far too long.....
13 days until payday - it can't come soon enough this month, although I am managing to stay within my budget so far which is a good sign for the future.
We've had a fair bit of snow overnight, so a slippy start to the day - if the snow doesn't go, then I won't be running tonight, but hopefully my yoga dvd will arrive so I can do that instead.......macgirl, I hope thats an acceptable compromise!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. We've got to update our wills when we get a new house, it always seems to be a good time to revise them.
Hate to think how much filing I'll have to do when we finally get out of store, you can imagine things have just been 'thrown' in to some extent
Snowed overnight here, too, so no chance of power walking here. But had a brainwave, the aparthotel has a basement, and 4 floors, so 10 half flights of stairs, it would be a killer, but stairs are a good way of getting fit. What's your office like Hypno?
When we stay in hotels we normally use the stairs, it keeps you fit, and helps save the planet too by not using the lifts0 -
Morning Hypno! I'm glad the evening out was good, and I know what you mean about the hot water bottle - I wore thin pyjama-type sweatpants to bed last night, don't often do that - and there was frost on the roofs and cars when I woke up.
Surfbabe - I'm so sorry you're having to go through this. When my brother in law died last year, we had to wait 10 days simply because of the crematorium, and that was bad enough, but more than double that ..... my heart goes out to you.
I'm kind of with Picklezombie (which I think is very cute!) but also with Hypno - I like being up early in the morning *and* late at night, which is probably why I often feel like taking a nap
but as far as *doing* anything is concerned, I'm on baby steps right now - v pleased because I just found a stiff handbrush under the sink - I can use it to sweep the front steps of all the leaves and whatnot, and then use that to fill in the bits by the new wall, which are still a bit bare of actual earth.
Have a good day, Hypno and all.
xxx2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Not too many stairs here, Se, but it is a good idea to get your exercise in that way.
Still snowing, and my secretary has just come in having fallen off her bike......so that definitely puts me off running this evening.
I'm very good at "filing" stuff in big boxes then shoving them in a cupboard/cabin/garage.......I haven't taken any of those boxes out for months (or years in some cases) so think it is about time I was ruthless and shredded the majority of it. I will rummage through and check for photographs and anything else vital, but I think in the main it will be out of date and irrelevant now.......Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Oopsie, crossposted - I loved shredding a load of stuff recently - I put it in the therapy room, and had a concerted go at it, there was so much that just disappeared from the house.Brill.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Boxes of paperwork not opened for years? - Check
Need to make a will? - Check
Not going running tonight? - Check, Check , Check!
I doubt I'll be running tonight. I'm sat here shivering with my hat on
Glad you had an evening out, you really needed it. Have a good day0
