    Good Morning Hypno & friends,

Hope you're doing better for sleep than I am.

The bath, candle and painting toenails, sounded nicely decadent.

Thank you - I guess it will be a few days before I know the outcome of the valuation etc, but at least I will then know one way or another, and I can start dealing with it accordingly.

When we've had valuers come around, admittedly for selling, I've always asked if there were any problems if I was there, and they've always been OK about it and given me an answer there and then. It's worth a try.

    Hope it goes well.

    Have a good day.

Far too early, caffeine desparately needed, but as you have not been on here yet hopefully you have had a better nights sleep.

I've only ever had one Jo Malone candle, and if I ever get a lottery win, some more would definately be my treat.

    How was the visit?

Forgot to say, when we had the house valued a number of years back the valuer told me the amount and then I rang them and asked. They gave another in principle type answer pending his written confirmation, but that may help start to settle what will happen.

The combination of the hot bath, nytol, only drinking decaf yesterday after 10am, and sheer exhaustion means that I slept reasonably well last night - feel hung over this morning mind you, but hopefully that will wear off soon!

My boss buys them for me for Christmas....but I would definitely like to surround myself with such beautiful things.....it is one of the things I have promised myself once I am fully cleared and decluttered - that I can have a few beautiful things, rather than lots of cheaper "alright" things.

The visit was fine -the children obviously enjoyed going and are planning on going again at the weekend. It'll all be ok as far as they are concerned.

Banking done - nothing in, nothing out. I'd quite like another NSD today because I know I will spend tomorrow and can do my odds and ends of shopping (bread, fruit etc) then. I've not yet used the car since OH left - we have made do with buses and not going out, so I am under the provisional petrol budget for the month so far, and hope I am forming good habits travel-wise to keep the budgets low for the future. I will need to use the car today, but I am pleased with the way things have gone so far.

The valuer is due between 8am and 11am....fingers crossed!

Hope you all have a good day x

Morning - pleased that you had a reasonable nights sleep and the children were bouyant after returning home.

We had the valuer round last Friday for our re-mortgage with the same institution as you - he was amazed he had been asked to do one as we were already with the lenders !!!. Anyway he did the valuation on Friday and we completed on Monday, cos of course we weren't actually moving anywhere.

Another long day ahead - things are worsening and I feel like I've been hit with a sledgehammer at the moment.

Have a good day everyone and hugs to everyone that needs one
  • Because I'm such a bumpkin I just googled Jo Malone candles..never heard of her, and now I have !
I love candles, little bit of Yankee lavender vanilla goes a long way, but I would love a waft of one of those beauties.

    Sending positive thoughts Hypno.
