well three pregnancies later, I think my OH probably dislikes me as much as I dislike him at times! I dont think I have ever moaned so much in my life as when I am pregnant. Hormones raging, anxiety about babies and labour, I do think you kind of become a different person when pregnant and it can be hard for BOTH people in a relationship. Try not to think too much about it, I am sure there will be days where you will be the total opposite and wonder what you would do without your OH.

Men are pretty clueless at times and sensitivity can often be lacking!

    Only some men, please! ;)

i think it may be hormones and the fact that we are literally with each other all the time..... with neither of us working, and the weather being horrid, we're just indoors together, and its not like its our house so we feel a bit like we've got to keep out the way....

Can I just say, the being at home together with neither of you working and being stuck in - this does get better with time. It took us a while to get used to being "cooped up".

I lost it spectacularly in John Lewis with OH earlier - went on about how he was really embarrassing me and wished he would stop! He drives me nuts sometimes.

As for being pregnant - well, cant possibly comment on that is all I can say at the minute :D

OP I think you have to take the rough with the smooth TBH. There are probably things you do which get on his nerves a little .Also as other posters have said it probably is partly due to being together 24/7. Personally I think everyone needs a little bit of space and time to themselves. Also just look on it as good practise for being a parent. Trust me, as your child gets older you will not always see eye to eye. You can have a lot of mixed emotions but still feel overwhelming love for them. I'm sure that is how you feel for OH.

Yes I go through phases like that all the time :D

Part and parcel of a long-term relationship though and its harder when you are pregnant and they are insensitive.

I find the older I am getting though and the longer we are together, the more I can ignore it and do my own thing.

There are 2 computers in the house, several TVs.. we both have our own cars so there is no need to argue over things like that.

But sometimes I get really sick of him and other days I love him and he's the best man on the planet :o
