Csa liability order

I have been summoned to court by the robbing csa for a liability order. Has any one had one served on them. It states i do not need to attend but i think i will any way. Once the order is served can the csa just keep asking for more and more money till i cant afford it. Does anyone know any companies who deal with the csa. I feel i am being bullied. I have been told i owe 13,000 grand which seems a hell of a lot, but after speaking on the phone they told me i might only owe six. Any help/advice would be grateful as i am absolutly shatting myself.

Will if you havnt been paying then its your own fault its all built up and you owe them thousands, if you paid from the start what you were asked then you wouldnt be in this situation
  • I did pay but not the stupid amounts they wanted like 195 per week when i was only earning 330. And the fact that they would not take my second son into consideration untill he was three.

Did you inform the CSA of all the changes in circumstances when they happened?

I take it you are a bloke, to be honest you will get little sympathy from the majority of visitors (the gang) here.
However they do have a point on this occasion, as you have discovered the csa are like herpes and they won't go away!
If you feel your case has not been handled correctly then you can have a chat with NACSA there is a subscription but that is the least of your worries and/or you can ask your MP for some input, .
At the end of the day though you will have to pay , it is no point trying to fight the system .
    Good Luck

CSA calculator shows you should of been paying £50 per week with that income so that figure must of included arrears also

Deadbeatdads also can help, on their web site they say that they have had a number of applications for LOs thrown out on points of law.

    You may find them helpful.

Been there done that t shirts worn done .

I would write to the the data protection unit to get all of the information they have about you and also how they worked out their assesments .There will be a £10 charge for this now (sticky at top of the forum) and the template letter can be found at the NACSA website .When i got my data protection files i started picking out anomolies
and started hitting back at them.I have had 1 complaint upheld in my favour and soon to be another one also (with a payment of £50) .I have now had £4k wiped off my alleged arrears as well .
As others have said NACSA have been a good help also £50 subscription and a lot of other posters on here (Some PWC and some NRP ) So the forum isn't all that bad at times .:p

I would ask for a complete breakdown of the alleged arrears also as the judge isn't allowed to question how the arrears are made up although he see clearly on my liability order my 7 year old son could have made a better calculation .

    Skint

They will need to serve you with papers of the alleged arrears so you must roughly have an idea of what you owe .How did it come about that they said it could only be 6000 .Get the persons name and get them to confirm in writing .As for papping youself i wouldn't as it took 4 sittings at court befor the LO was granted as the judge knew the CSA (and their lawyers ) had screwed up but he had to grant it but he didn't award costs against me given the circumstances .
Stand up to them if have been wrongly done by them .:D

    utter tosh.

i've read some complete carp on here, but that's right up with the worst of the uninformed drivel i've seen.

pointer. try getting some FACTS before condemning the OP eh? :T

for instance, are my arrears legit????? legally, yes, as they were built up while my ex committed benefit fraud.

but i'm legally liable and i get the pleasure of paying twice. go figure. so please engage brain before spouting sheite. cheers.

beware though. firstly you'll have to pay, and secondly, they're full of sheite.

the word "delusional" springs to mind.
