    Hi Shoegal

I've come out of Lurkdom to suggest gathering a group of girlfriends and instead of going for cocktails go Salsa dancing. A brilliant night out, and fabulous exercise without it feeling like exercise? My sister decided to go to Salsa classes as a way of meeting new people, which she did, plus had a great time, plus lost some lbs. Not bad for a few quid, and no-one wonders why you're on water because you need that water.

My own target is one pound a week. In reality that means a two pound true loss as, I've reversed the three pounds a week I was putting on.

Don't know if that will help at all, but I hope so!

    Hey Shoegal

    Good luck with your plans.

I think that everyone works best in different ways - for example I have no willpower so if I'm trying to lose weight I don't buy any kind of snacks, biscuits etc.

However a friend of mine really needs to have treats to keep her going and so she buys those multi-packs of things like party rings and other snacks. She's doing WW and it really works for her. She works her snacks into her allowances.

For me I need to be tough as I'm rubbish at leaving tasty things alone!!

Plus I have to do exercise to lose weight, really helps for me and covers up any slip ups.

However for it to really work for me - I have to really feel the groove and get the motivation for it. It sounds like you are in the zone and you can totally lose this in a few months - ready for Summer!!

    Good luck!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

hello my lovely, just caught up with your diary, and you sound very much like me, you have to get to the bottom to climb up from it.

Am so happy for you that you have come up with a plan. I couldn't join a WW Group it just wouldnt work for me I know what I'm like, if i hadn't lost weight I just wouldnt go!!!

My healthy eating/diet starts tomorrow too, have been shopping and am going to be ruthless and take all the sweets and biccies etc into work for the boys to eat, then I can't be tempted. Really going to up my ex routine too, and I might even try spinning!

Good luck, I will be checking in and seeing how youre getting one, and offering support along the way. x

Right now SG, was going to tell you about the evil South Beach Diet but the not eating carp and excercising diet is also good. South Beach is hard work and needs loads of planning but the weight comes off fast, and mainly from your stomach! Whatever you do, good luck and we'll all be cheering you from the sidelines!
