Home Plugs HELP!

Well, is it possible you made any changes to the Privacy settings? If so, see if it's possible to reset this. I only had problems with mine because I setup the privacy, and it was a wee bit complicated to synchronise it across all plugs.albionrovers wrote: »Does this mean that the other 2 are encrypted? Can you remember how I remove this?
Do you have the manual in PDF format?Of course, I may just be talking b****cks!0 -
Are they all plugged in directly to the wall sockets, and not on trailing extension leads or surge protectors? No free lunch, and no free laptop

1 - large button, where? Thx.
2 - yes, i messed with privacy settings. PDF now open.
3 - all direct into wall sockets.
Thanks.0 -
OK, that's likely the cause then, but shouldn't be too difficult to reset.albionrovers wrote: »2 - yes, i messed with privacy settings. PDF now open.
I'm happy to advise if you send me the PDF.Of course, I may just be talking b****cks!0 -
Just had a look at my homeplug software.... thinking about it, these devices are all compatible to the same standard, so should work similar to yours.
Anyway, I have a tab for privacy, that includes a button called "Use Default (public)". Click that to disable privacy for the network. Next, I have a button that places all connected homeplugs onto this public network ("Set All Devices"). Click that, then test.Of course, I may just be talking b****cks!0 -
Probably different versions then - mine are 200AVs like this with white button below the lights http://www.solwise.co.uk/net-powerline-av-push-piggy.htm (the ones without the mains socket also have the large button on the front).albionrovers wrote: »1 - large button, where? Thx.0 -
Plugged all 4 plugs in, reset the modem with a sharp pencil, jobs a good 'un. All working. I forgot/lied earlier, 1 x plug was via plug extension instead of direct into socket.

2 x happy daughters. :T
Thanks to all who posted and Happy New Year to you all. Have a great time.0
