good for you, I hope 2010 brings you everything you dream of and more!
it took me almost 4 years to get over leaving my husband for the same reason. I woke up in 2010 having left everything in 2009 and felt so much lighter in the emotional department. cost me lots of money and almost finished me off but I have moved on now.
be strong and don't rush into anything with match.com
unless someone impossibly rich eye candy comes along!

Good luck on Match.com, I have toyed with the idea myself but I don't feel entirely ready for the whole dating thing to be honest

To be honest doodles I am not sure I am but was only £20 for six months so not too worried if I don't date a single person in that time.
Hi Little H, I am nowhere near over my ex either really, just seeing how things go on match.com for friends really. Good Luck for this year though, in a way I am grateful to my ex for leaving me as I don't think I would have had the guts to leave ever

Lilmissmup that's the 1st time you've said that and actually admitted things weren't great. This is HUGE progress!'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Awww thanks ladies. Guess its cos apart from the emails I haven't actually had any other contact with ex for over six weeks now.
In one very weird way I am thankful for the mind games, well sort off cos it finally showed me it wouldn't work and time apart has too.
I should be going to sleep soon as back to work tomorrow but am wide awake still!!!
Oh and tips on how to let nice sounding guys down on match.com too? Cos I have had another email but just don't find him at all attractive but don't wanna be rude.
Had a weirdo too so told him no and just blocked that one, am sure will have to do that a bit too! :rolleyes:Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Right, here's what I do. Anyone you don't like the look of ignore them. I know it sounds harsh but they'll do it to you too!!! Also don't get too obsessed by it, loads of people email for a bit, arrange to meet then don't get back in touch when you want to sort out places etc! LOADS of timewasters on the net so remember it's not you.
I got all excited and was on all the time at first but it goes through fits and starts so take it easy. Basically don't take it too seriously. I have loads of fun doing it but I've also met some dull guys and /or guys I didn't fancy/didn't fancy me. it's a numbers game love, the more guys you date, the more chance you have of meeting a decent one. I go with low expectaions and if I meet someone I fancy great, if not then it makes a good story!!!! XXX'The road to a friends house is never long'0
