Arghhhhh might have a date soonish with another match.com man. He shall be called Irish Man 2 (as first irish man ignored me after two emails).

Seems a nice guy, we have a lot in common, hes quite cute though I don't look at him and think woah but I have nothing to wear, not been on a date in 7 years and am sure hes going to tell me to go jump when I actually admit I wear a brace....

Argggghhhhh god being in a relationship is so much easier!!!

Good luck on the date! I know I should try internet dating, lots of friends have had great successes with it with some even married to and having children with the people they met. I haven't had a date for 7 years either - it's an almost a shaming amount of time - clearly must be plenty of things I could be doing about it!!

'Admit' you wear a brace?' I think you should NOT mention that as it's like it's an issue which it might not be for him at all. I never say BTW I am only 5'0 or 'one of my boobs is slightly bigger than the other' as frankly no man I've met is ever perfect either!!!!! And as for the 'being in a relationship is so much easier' comment ..... Right what you need to do is not put too much into this. Expect nothing and then you can only be surprised. My mate got all dolled up and spent loads for her date only to look at the guy and realise she didn't fancy him and so wouldn't be seeing him again. In my experience you will have to go on lots of dates to meet someone who you like/likes you so accept that the 1st date you have is not going to be that amazing and go along to see what it's like. Obv he MIGHT be amazing but it's a numbers game love so don't get too hung up on it and just enjoy the ride as it were. XXX

Mmm its not 100% on the date and Souk I am not 100% sure I like him anyway.

The brace thing is well, you can see it when I smile and think I should say something before he looks at me is weirded out lol!

Yargo blinkin heck if you had a lunch break you could have read my other 4 or 5 diaries with more tales of my ex.debt etc lol!

Hi allbuymyself, well I was with my ex for 6.5 of the 7 years so not quite the same, just meant first date I guess.

Lilmiss, hope you're okay and off being fabulous somewhere. I'm off to see Mum and Dad today. They're coming up for a bit of shopping. Mum is not walking great just now so she wants me to help her get some bits and then we'll have lunch together. Be good to see them. It's been ages.

I was out last night with my darling friend Michael, went to an acoustic song session but people kept talking, the more drunk they got the louder it was but otherwise a fab night, didn't get in until 11.30 though and had to be up at 7 for orthodontist before work today so am just in bed hoping to be asleep soon!

But good news ladies, I have a job interview Monday and am very much hoping it goes well, closer to home, for a well known car manufacturer and fingers crossed more cash but defo more chance of promotion than I have now.

My jobs starting to do my head in, too busy, not enough staff and just taken on a massive new contract which means things are only gonna get worse esp told as no chance of any payrise this year
