Cos it makes their egos feel good. It's hard to let people go you loved whatever happens, but once you can its such an amazing feeling.

Lilmiss, my advice to you is not to wonder when you'll hear from him or if he'll change his mind and suddenly want to play happy families but to remember what you said about it not being a great relationship anyway, you two never going out etc. You deserve different to this and YOU deserve to have the life YOU want. Why do women never get this????

I think, well from my point of view, is when you have been with someone so long it is scary to be on your own and you go through the whole "noone will want me again" process.

I am now out the other side, loving being single and now exactly what I want from the next relationship and what I will and won't put up with.

I think its just a case of time will change that feeling, everyone takes longer to reach this stage, but littlemiss is definately getting there :D

I know she is! Just women in general never seem able to put themselves 1st and I really don't get it.

No I totally agree. It's funny it's only now I realise I am quite important, before it was my ex or my DD. Now its DD and then ME :T

Souk I promise I don't want to get back with him for the reasons you are thinking off, just wondering if he will keep to his word and stop playing games.

I want to keep moving on I really do. I want him too as well so he lets me do that.

Anyway all stuffed with Pizza now and gonna watch CBB for more guilty pleasures.

Lovely! And Dawn, it doesn't matter if he keeps to his word as you wont be having anything much to do with him. Also he can only play games with you if you let him. Be strong!
