Also doing my daily car window shopping :rolleyes: (in a bid to stop my Snaggles moment and re-focus my head!!
)
Keep veering between
- something around £1800 - little choice, old, bigger risk but little debt incurred
- something around £2500 - bit more choice, still old-ish more debt incurred
- something around £4k - lots more choice (although still a bit limited), a lot newer (53/54 plates) but :eek::eek::eek: at the debt it will incur.
Many of the automatics for sale are big motorway cars, not quite what I need for pootling to the park with Charlie and back!
I can't see me getting the insurance offer before the next 10 days or so, so still not an urgent thing to buy but I need to be on the ball for something coming up. Just called about a 99 Focus. FSH, 1st owner was Ford when it was a demo, second owner had it since. Problem is that 1999 Focus had an old Mada auto gearbox and apparently are pants. :rolleyes:
Now if I wanted an old Jag/Merc/Volvo/Pajero that is big enough to live in and personally contribute to the whole of the carbon footprint for the road I live on due to the engine sizes, I can have whatever I choose for around 2k :rolleyes:

We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0
