they did phone me earlier in the week to offer me a "loyalty bonus" of a upgrade to 24meg but i would have to take out 18mth contract i declined, they then offered 12 mths again i declined,
posted on the talktalkmembers forum to ask to change to a 24meg profile and all done0 -

What speed were you getting before the free boost?
I was getting on average 7megs download and after asking for the free boost on 1st Jan,I now now get 10megs.
AFAIK this is all down to how good the cable is from your exchange to your house.
So if you were`nt getting OVER 8megs before, there`s no chance of getting above 10megs now.
I`m also on a rolling monthly contract but haven`t had any offers.
Also the prices went up on 1st Jan from £17-74 to £18-48 for Essentials package, weekends and evenings.0 -
I was getting 6-7megs before upgrade i get 11 -12 now depending on time of day
so not too bad I am on a legacy package and pay 16.99mth0
