Managed to get three rooms - two at Edinburgh learmonth and one in central london city road, all for £30. Very pleased - although I wasn't bothered about dates which made it a lot easier.

    Anyone stopped at either?

    Thanks

site has been flaky this morning. My preferred trav lodge had a £39 in the middle of the £9 block I wanted, so gone for one a few miles away thats got good reviews.

Be prepared to refresh your searches - one night showed as £9 but wouldn't let me book, then it went to £19. After searching again it settled on £12, so got it.
Its best to book multiple nights by adding individual nights to your basket and then paying all of them together, starting a fresh search for each night seems best to get lowest prices to show
  • Have managed to book for London in May. Didn't get best rates but averaged out at £40.00 a night. Took me ages to search and book why can't they have a system like other sites and you can search for your dates and location and it lists you your full price. Some of the rooms I booked went up in price as I was doing each individual night. Book fairly regularly with them and always takes so long and that can't be good for their site either. Hope they read forums like this to get customer's opinions.
  • Not alot left around Yorshire unless you want Pontefract

I really wanted Scarborough in August and that was a no go even at 4.30am this morning, there was plenty in York then. We settled on Derbyshire in the end

  • we got Leatherhead for £12 for a trip to Chessington May Bank Hol, apart from that a bit rubbish. Nothing decent left in London.

Thanks for reminder, booked 3 nights for the family at Worthing Seafront in August and booked Ashbourne in May to go to Alton Towers.
