Thanks. I'll go for the seagate from Dabs - just under £76. Cheers!

if you really want to be Money Saving, buy an internal drive and external usb caddy and simply put them two together. Thats what I did and works perfectly.

Typical internal 250GB drive: £50 (Microdirect, code HAR250MAXID7216L)
    USB caddy: £15(Microdirect, code HARACCSUM52U)

Total Price: £65 plus delivery as opposed to £76 plus delivery from DABS.com

Remember to check the Brand of the Disk, not the Brand of the case ;)

Thanks for this advice. I did consider this but I don't really know what I am doing! It is actually £76 including delivery, so not too big a price difference.

It is just a one year warranty, so not as good unfortunately! Too late now though - it has been ordered!

Not sure about the make of disk, I thought seagate made their own! Oh well.

    Just an update:

I ordered the Seagate one from DABS on Sunday pm, I got a receipt through the email and a dispatch notice both on Monday and it arrived this morning (Tuesday) at 9am, so I am very pleased with the service and price. Just installed the drive (it is plug and play) and it seems fine.
