Take it to court at your own peril as a judge is going to think something is decidedly dodgy about the car or your BIL.

just to clarify this point yes the clio is in better spec and condition but my BIL wanted a saxo and as no one was offering to buy it (was reasonably priced and was below the valuation of £850 as he marked it up for 720 ono) untill the offer of a swap came allong my BIL dont mind doing repairs he has access to a proper garage and tools and i get discount from my previous works in a motor factors.

the inferior saxo would have been brough back to good condition in the summer as my BIL planned to repaint it and repair it properly. its his thing i think he has ocd when it comes to cars it has to be perfect he cant stand things being broken or not working it has to be right, hence why he keeps the reciepts too just to say i spent this that and the other on it. plus yeh he's too honest when comeing to sell his cars as he get too enthusiastic when talkking about them. i trhink he puts them off many people dont share his view on cars tried explaining that but in one ear out the other.

1200cc/engine (engine replacement had 42000 miles on it) shell done 64000miles
clean body,
14" OZ alloy wheels with new tyres all round not a mark on em
all new suspension parts and mountains, exhaust and cat.
full clio sport 182 leather/suade interior and leather stearing wheel door cards and clio sport floor mats etc.
cat 1 alarm
stereo and hidden 6x9 speakers.


so what model is the clio ,is it a basic 1.2 that he has 'done' or is it the sport?has it got power steering,what area are you (roughly)
