Talk talk problems?

I have TalkTalk, and can honestly say it is rubbish.
I have never had any Internet provider give me such a crap service ever. The worst mistake I ever made was leaving BT, and the second my 12 month contract is over I am dropping this shower and going back to BT.
You will never get a decent Internet speed with TalkTalk, and it cuts out all the time too. To call the customer service terrible would be an injustice to the word terrible, and to say that me joining them was a mistake is yet another understatement.
I would recommend everyone avoids TalkTalk as the quality of the service they provide is terrible. I have faster speeds on my Blackberry than I do on my laptop thanks to this terrible company.0 -
TalkTalk (not!!)- entered into a contract for UK eve & weekend calls + broadband (30 minute recorded conversation with a super salesman!!) for £33.48 month- receive welcome pack for UK evening and weekend calls only - 5 email exchanges and 1 phone call from them to say that I cannot have broadband - why? - not all customers can was the response!! - I requested a cancellation - could not do that over the phone - would have to put it in writing- did so on 15th December - in meantime they set up direct debit and arrange with BT to swap my service - a phone call this morning (46 minutes ) the upshot was that TalkTalk cannot for some reason cancel my order/account - the suggestion was that I contact BT and make sure that they do divert me to TalkTalk!! They stated they had not received my letter of cancellation - that was due to the Christmas Royal mail rush!!!!!
Totally useless, hopeless + terrible service - for a communications company they have failed big time in communicating.
In my opinion a company to avoid.0 -

i was meant to be working from home this week, but as i havent got my promised broadband iv got to come into work
And they won't give you any sympathy either! I had complained (fault after fault with our phoneline and thus broadband) that I had had to use my annual leave as I was meant to be working from home and couldn't. Their response was that business conducted using their line was not their responsibility! I am also a contact on my Grandmothers lifeline but they were not interested in that fact either and left me without a landline for nearly two weeks. TT have difficulty understanding that in modern life much of our lives are conducted utilising the internet and phone and we therefore require phone and internet services that we can rely on.
I moved to SKY back in the summer and have not been kicked off the net once since then (unlike daily if not hourly when I was with TT)
Pigs will fly before I ever suggest to anyone that they use TT :jThanks to everyone who post competitions/freebies :jStarted comping June 2011 and wins/freebies so far are..JLS cd Tabasco sauce Toothpaste Simple eye corrector pen Armarni Sport Code Bio effect serum Charles Worthington hair straightening kit Lancome mascara Rimmel mascara £50 gift card Breakfast Cereal0 -
My mum has been having problems and when she rings, all they say to her is "We can not help you". She can deal with problems with the broadband but she cannot deal with this type of response from customer service. Therefore she has changed provider today.Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!
There are three types of people in the world, those who can add up and those who can't.0
