Is it wrong of me to get excited? I just used Martin's new overpayment calculator on the Mortgage thread..if i put in an extra £350 a month we will be MF in 8 years...ooohh.


I know Mr.B has debt, i will be DF this year, well in 6 months /jointly will be 12 months...i so wanna overpay...

I did think of a plan though- if i had extra work- could i put that off the mortgage?

I Would still pay off the debt *shuffles feet* yeah probably pie in the sky...

Oh well it is a goal.

I'm currently sitting with Sadie on my lap, pressing F5, and reading 'How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive. A Manual of Step-By-Step Procedures for the Complete Idiot' whilst Sadie is trying to pull each page out! ( Its my favourite book and gets much use!)

It's amazing how quick the mortgage shrinks with overpayments..well worth thinking about.Can't wait until I can get really stuck into overpaying mine.

I know- i have been having a play with budget and sorting out what to do...i really want to shrink it down...Reckon i could clear it in 5 with the debt gone...:D
