  • List to do today:

Start on essay/ work for next weeks session:o

Menu plan and shop- although we have done rather well thanks to further frugal recipes from Weezl and a plan to use up left overs. DS and DD are cooking today, so they are planning Weetabix cake.:D I know it won't last;)

On this front i might add i have been on Tesco Value Teabags all week and have enjoyed them, so won't be buying brand name teabags in the foreseeable future... The menu planning again has had a massive impact on my shopping budget- so i now just buy in what has been used and so it goes....i do still insist on Free range eggs/ Chicken and good quality meat- we just use less and have more veggies.

    Washing

    Budget shuffle

Clean windows on the inside- they are annoying me

Chase up wages:mad: I have been underpaid

    Mooch

I Still haven't started a book this week and i have loads of book vouchers to use as well- not like me at all.:o

    SCRABBLE:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

That's about it for today. Bob x

When you say that you haven't started a book, do you mean 'reading' one ...writing one?
There has to be book there somewhere ....and a film! How about 'Three Credit cards and a Funeral':rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    ....no need to ask whos'!
    :D:D stay wonky :D:D

Try 8 credit cards and you may be nearer the mark:o but i can see it is a working title.:D:rotfl:

Have just waded through Treacle- as in the reading required for course- what a bunch of pretentious twaddle that was...now i have to critique it:eek: I can't write pile of manure though..:rotfl: I have a headache now:cool:

...or have I misunderstood again Bob????

I may have OD'd on Custard Creams! Each time I check the packet, which is two rows of biccies, it looks uneven......so I level it off, but I cant remember un-levelling it again:D

btw, while I was off with my hernia, I re-read the entire 'Adrian Mole' series because DD had bought the latest one 'The Prostrate Years' ( yes, prostRate is correct title) and they were as good as ever.

Sue Townsend has written many other great books too. 'Number 10' a p*ss-take on the Blairs was great and I'm trying to find 'Public Confessions of a Middle-Aged Woman (aged 55 2/3rds)' next.

Have you read The Lovely Bones, it'll be interesting to see if the Film of it is any good.

Oops, Sorry Bob, that was almost a serious post.:p

I was going to try and post a link- but the documents are protected..There is just so much educational jargon:o For a very basic message. 20,000 words, where 50 would probably have covered it:rotfl::rotfl:

Custard creams seem so much better even:D

I haven't read any Sue Townsend, since the early books- they sound good though:D

I haven't read the Lovely Bones, read Sacred Bones- which was a waste of a few hours- ending very disappointing:o

    Bone collector was good:D

I don't envy you reading all that bumph!!!
It always amazes me the amount of pages they waste on something that can be said in one paragraph.
Think I need to go to the library and see what I can find as haven't read a book in ages.
