Oh there was me having a crafty sneak at work and up you pop..lol


Well i have been a bit neglectful of late re the diary. Had a bit of an argument with eldest DD came off Face book for a couple of days and was going to delete the diary She sort of found it and had a bit of a wobbly moment.

I don't know what to do for the best so i am not writing much at the moment just having a lurk when i have time.

Oooh that's a hard one!!!....you're diary doesn't mention all that much about her and is mainly about you and your OH...am hoping you keep your diary going as it's a release for you and is your support.

I had the same issue last week - SiL told MiL some of the things that I had written.......and it was thrown back at me as being the reason my marriage broke down.........

Obviously, it was NOT the reason my marriage broke down, and OH soon pointed out that fact, thankfully, but it was not a very nice couple of days

The best is for you to continue with the diary.

If DD wants you to bottle it all up until you go off with a bang and take her head off - well, there's a reason why "learning things the hard way" is called "learning things the hard way".

I always find that sort of thing counterproductive. Blame might give your S/MiL a warm fuzzy feeling inside, but it isn't helping *anybody*. It just tends to entrench positions.

Kudos to OH though.

I am so sorry to hear that. :grouphug:Makes it much more difficult to understand when you did your very best to sort it out. I would have been a proud MIL, if i had read your diary.:A I must admit i always thought you were very kind to OH, never blaming or anything- pointing out the odd unscheduled cashpoint mistakes but that's about it.

I on the other hand refer to burial under patio's etc:rotfl::rotfl:

You are probably right- i was shocked as other things were mixed up with her argument. But i would have been in the looney bin by now if i wasn't able to come on here...cripes i came out in a hot sweat when i couldn't go on Scrabble for a couple of days...:eek::rotfl::rotfl:

quite...no going nowhere! You have gotta be cautious on what you say cos its a public place (always type that SOOOO carefully!) but sils/mils etc possibly should consider freedom of speech plus the fact that I'm sure DD tells people you KNOW things but were just in t'internet as ceridwen would say!
