Thanks for the new thread Pink :A

I think I might change to an annual budget for 2010, will decide after I've worked out my total spend for 2009

More snow forecast in for us this week so maybe some more enforced NSD's which will help! :D

Good luck with the challenge everyone :j

welcome katenut, helen will be along to add you to the list soon, good luck!
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

  • Hello again!
Thanks for getting the challenge going:D
I've not actively joined recently but have kept a vague running total of my grocery spends...BUT, back to the organised, motivated me for 2010;)

Can you put me down for £220 for Jan please - that's food, cleaning stuff and toiletries for myself and DDs, 12 and 10.

    Have a good Jan everyone:T
I really need to sort out a new signature!
  • I didn't manage December, and I have lots of food in stock, so we are going for just £200 in January. I'm going to have a good look through the recipes at the beginning of the thread and look out for things I can make with what I have in stock.
    December GC: £350

    Hi Pink-winged

Thanx for starting this thread, have been waiting anxiously. I'd like to re-start this challenge this month and would like to allocate
    £40

My month runs from 25.12.2009 to 24.01.2010. This is for myself only. I have a freezer full of stuff and also enough toilet rolls and long life milk to feed an army, as I am having major surgery to my shoulder at the end of February and will have my arm strapped to my side for 6 weeks so have been stocking up for then in case I can't get out for a week or two, or can't carry anything.

Hope to do well this month.

    Thanx so much
    Cheers

I'd like to join in too please as I really need to keep my spending under control - I will put my monthly spend for January as £300 for food, cleaning materials and toiletries.

    Thanks, Kimmee
  • Thank you pink for explaining how to do the signature bit. I've sorted that out and put my challenge down. I'm aiming for £200 in January to cover foodstuffs and cleaning bits that we might need.
