Thanks for popping by Munchin...i have to say i dont feel like on a day to day basis we are doing that well but if you look at things over the past three years we have come a long way.
The problem is i am very impatient and clearing the mortgage is such a long progress.
I really need to get better at updating this diary and maybe that would keep me on the straight and narrow. Another mortgage payment will go out tomorrow :j:jCredit card £4461.15Home mortgage £137117Buy to let mortgage £83,0000 -

Thanks QB wolf...i am going to try and get back into overpaying the mortgage even if its only little bits.
Today i took a few bags of old clothes to the recycling shop and they gave me £7 for them so i have rounded this up and paid £10 off the mortgage :j:j
I also have quite a few bits i could put on ebay its just finding the time to list them, but hope to get this done over the weekendCredit card £4461.15Home mortgage £137117Buy to let mortgage £83,0000 -
Is it a FLW by any chance? I have a pram to sell and was avoiding ebay but not managed to sell it locally. btw, I mentioned to my manager about integrated return and she laughed it off!! Those mortgage figures are coming down nicely, it's a bit of a marathon for some of us but we will get there.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

Thanks for the encouragement CathT...hope your settling back into work ok...shame about the phased return.
I dont think it is a FLW because they usually email me and i never received anything...i usually start things at 99p anyway so it doesnt matter. For something more expensive you might be better to wait. Hope all the house renovations are completeCredit card £4461.15Home mortgage £137117Buy to let mortgage £83,0000 -

This morning i used the £30 shop and scan vouchers i received in iceland. Then i went to tescos and used the £5 clubcard voucher i had and doubled it up in the exchange to use on frozen food :j.
My empty defrosted freezer is now full to bursting and i havent actually spent a penny.
The £40 i would have spent has been paid off the mortgage. When this months payment clears we will be in the 133's..WoooHooo :beer:Credit card £4461.15Home mortgage £137117Buy to let mortgage £83,0000 -

It's the regular small overpayments like this which really hammer the mortgage down - well done.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0
