£161,044.25 reasons to be mortgage free

Oh dear its been three months since i last updated this diary. Things on the MFW front are so slow these days with no overpayments but the balance is £135930.
I am back at work full time from this week so will have a few more pounds in the bank at the end of the month, althought my sanity will probably be out the window. Must work out what the daily interest is now.....

...just worked it out to be £17.16....still extortionate!!

I am getting worse at updating this diary...life is so busy at the minute as i am back working full time

. The mortgage is coming down but not as quick as i would like...we are now at £134987 and have reached our target for the MFiT T2 challenge six months ahead of schedule :j:j.
I think over the next three years i am going to aim to get below 100k...this would be a massive psychological boost to us! Although i have to admit i have kind of lost my motivation for money saving this last few months and am not sure how to get it back

Your thread has been really inspiring! Don't worry Um sure you will pick up the pace again - you have done so well even though the interest is still high, focus on how much less you are paying a month because of all your hard work.

I'm going to try beating again this weekend although I do find it to be hard work.

Our op's are very variable at the moment.

Another month another payment....we are now down to £134659. We havent made any overpayments in ages but i do feel like we are getting back on track lately!
Am really looking forward to getting below 130k.....seems a lomg way off though.
