Question... what is the best way to get rid of spiderwebs? I noticed yesterday that the ceiling light above the stairs (hard to get to - must use vacuum maybe?) has a MASSIVE web... I do not own a feather duster as I have a Dyson with a duster attachment... but seriously, what is the best way to get rid of spiders webs?

That is what I use, I use it for dewebbing each week too around the corners of the room.

  • Morning all - I think

Really struggling to get going this morning - didn't get up till 9am and just had cereal.

Listening to the radio telling me no sign of a thaw all week didn't help. I know there are many people coping with real problems but i just feel really 'off' this morning. Sorry. Will go and stick myself under the shower. That might help.

I'm in again this week. Three days doing almost nothing has resulted in a bombsite of a living room....Might enlist DD's help, she's starting to suffer the results of too much sugar and cabin fever! At least we're out for a bit today....

    Have a good day all

Thanks to pigpen, toots & soappie - quick suggestion for toots & Soappie - have you thought about putting the 'stars done to...' line on the stars post? would be even easier for you to both know where you were then?! Just a thought!
    .

That's an idea Rach - thank you. But my method is to go to post 3 (or wherever!) then click on the name and find 'last post by'. That usually gets me to exactly the right place I need to be to carry on. But maybe the real Toots will think your method is better.

    Aww Crafty
    - hope the shower help. I remember you said yesterday you abandoned your trip because of the ice. Hope some of it melts for you and you don't feel trapped all week.

We have a sharp frost here this morning and the temp is 3 C which is cold! But the sun is shining.

Now, let's look at the list - I did a lot yesterday so it will be easy:

    Morning All

I've washed some dishes so that's a start I suppose. AF has arrived and is tiring me out as usual. I do intend to try and get some jobs done today though. I don't think we've got anything particularlt planned for today but we'll see.

    Have a good day all

  • Hello! I'm in, thanks Pigpen, Toots and Soappie

Ashia, you and I will have nearly the same anniversary! I got married on 8th Sept 07, so we will be celebrating nearly the same day!

    Welcome Welshkaz

Mumof2 sorry to hear about your pneumonia, hope you get some energy back soon

Mummyslittleboy I hope your shoulder is better soon

Potty I hope you feel better soon

Hugs Diva, glad your power cut wasn't too long

We are heading home early afternoon, so just need to do a bit of tidying and packing - load the DW and clean the worktops, start the WM with mum's stuff and then we can head off.

DH wanted to watch a film this morning before we go, but he's still in bed. Hopefully he will wake up in time to get everything done so I don't get all stressed about it. I feel a bit better today but dont want to have to do everything!
