I am in this week went well of the rails last week as I have hurt my shoulder it is still bad but have got to get house back on track was doing so well before christmas will just have to try and pace myself untill it is better

the challenge is to have all your ironing done by New Year's Eve - to start 2010 with an empty ironing basket.

Ok the list closed for the challenge on 23rd December

Oooooo errrrrrrrrrrr its getting close - how are you all doing - we have just less than 4 days to get the ironing baskets empty - WE CAN DO IT!!!!! I would love to see you all manage it xx GOOD LUCK!

this is not a competition - there is no prize except feeling good that you are starting a new year with an empty basket - try to encourage each other - we all want to succeed
dont wait until the week (or day) before to get started:eek: - try to do a little bit as often as you can.

ETA has everyone made a start - even if its just getting it sorted into easy and difficult/time consuming piles - try to do the hardest stuff first and then you will whizz through the rest!:D:D

I'm in, though we're away first thing Tues - Fri so I may not get everything done! After my gold star for doing all 5 lists last week I'd like to try and get it all done though.

Thanks to pigpen, toots & soappie - quick suggestion for toots & Soappie - have you thought about putting the 'stars done to...' line on the stars post? would be even easier for you to both know where you were then?! Just a thought!

I am ready for a day of no people (except DH!) tomorrow. We ended up at in laws for several hours earlier and then DH's friend who was popping over for an hour stayed for three and a half....I am well and truly peopled out now (very unlike me!). AF is being a pain which isn't helping either!

poppy - big hugs and lots of love to you. I'm not sure what happened xmas day but it's clear something did.

I want to think of a list of things I'd like to achieve in 2010....

I didn't know about the challenge:( But Mum is down and has done all the ironing for me bless her:j:j:j

I am going to keep up with it and have an empty basket as often as possible don't want to let it build up again!

Right before I went to bed I

put turkey carcass in slowcooker

bread stuff in bread maker

took medicine

binned some rubbish

placed potatoes in a hessian bag I've found

tidied kitchen a bit

I am having a mad binbag filling sesh tomorrow I think.. This is the one week of the year when the binnies will take extra bags and I fully intend taking advantage of that.. I have about 8 binbags full, plus 2 wheelie bins, 1 huge recycling bin.. and can probably manage about another 5 or 6 in a very short time!

Off to bed before I just collapse..

I haven't been doing flylady for a while as I had builders in for 5 months and then an out of work husband for 12 :eek:.

Things have finally settled down know and I am hoping to get back into a routine so please count me in.

I am having a day at home tomorrow in my pj's will sort out the cleaning but kitchen is very tidy anyway so bonus
