  • Oh Lord! You've all done the list before I've even got up!
I'm a very late starter as I go to bed very late and sleep late. It works against me in the winter as once it's dark I tend to sit down and not move.

It takes me til late afternoon to get comfortable and feel my version of normal - that's my excuse anyhow!

Have to food shop today unfortunately which will take most of available energy but will be good girlie and ditch recycling at same time.

Jinky A difficult situation for you that, I'm sure is casuing pain and hurt for all. I do hope that you manage to sort it out and find some peace of mind about the situation. Difficult for you to imagine now, but in a months time all the angst will be behind you and forgotton, I hope.
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

Didn't get up till midday (its raining, so I didn't see the point :o). However, I do actually have LOTS to do, so need to shower, dress and get myself out of the house. Well done to everyone who has managed a productive morning...

... oh... and all this talk about OHs/ex-OHs, KHs and stroppy teenagers is making me realise that sometimes being single and childless has it's benefits :D;)

Update time for me......just the dusting and polishing to do in the lounge and ridding of any cobwebs that may have appeared......and the coats that are in the machine need to come out and be hung up in the shower cubicle so they can drip dry.....

And I have at least two HHIs to do I reckon, but I will make a start on them after lunch armed with one of the DVDs that found their way into the house on Christmas morning!

I've got the spare room ready for my guest, but need to do the bathroom yet, and ideally I would like to get to the bottle bank but as I haven't got a car today or tomorrow it will mean lugging them by hand, so whether I get it done may depend on the willingness or otherwise of DD, who has just surfaced from her bed

Dinner tonight will be roast turkey.....again.....so very little in the way of preparation there - just need to cut up a cauli and make a cheese sauce :D

Whoever suggested Flylady Days for a present - brilliant - my daughter redeemed her Flylady Vouchers (from me) so that I could get her place straight(ish) before Christmas Day. Well it is certainly cleaner - think I cleaned her ovens twice a day for a week and shampooed her carpets daily! Much more fun in someone else's house - but NO, I am not volunteering to do any more!

Anyone having any fun with the Christmas sales??

Cold and rainy here. I had to go into town first thing for an eye test. DS2 came along, and found himself a really nice jumper in River Island - and paid for it too! I bought myself a new file in WH Smiths, in the hope it may inspire me to sort out my paperwork, currently slithering off the shelf and onto the floor....and two more Patricia Cornwell books in Oxfam.:D Bribe for this afternoon when I've done the living room.
