  • Back from my first HHC for a bit ;)
    Decluttered and wiped work surfaces
unload DW, put dirty bits in
    1x WM, 1x TD
cooked DD breakfast, wiped hob and grill when finished
    S&S'd sink

I've not been around for a few months, I did some serious life decluttering and then have had the aftermath to tidy. I found out (after much suspicion) that DH was having an affair. He was funding two families, the other much more richly than his own. So I binned him. He has been a total spineless coward since, hasn't seen the kids, been prepared to deal with anything other than playing happy families with them. I have had the fallout of it all to deal with, including two very angry teenagers.

So, now I'm back and getting it sorted out again. I need the support of you lot to sort this part of my life out.

End of sermon, I'll join TAG's HHC a bit late again!

  • Didn't get anything done off my list in the HHC, did however get the DW emptied and refilled.
Did the dishes that dont go in DW and S&S'd the kitchen.
Took tonights dinner out freezer and portioned up last nights dinner into meals in the freezer.
Also tidied one of the shelves in the cupboard of doom in the hall. Dont think i'll need to buy fabric conditioner or deoderant in 2010:rotfl:

thanks for the reminder - going to sort out tonights tea now!
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j

I was just catching up with the thread last night and getting ready to update my list when DH grumbled about how much time I spend on here. Stupid jealousy. He actually said to 'tell him you'll talk to him tomorrow'. May have to change his initials soon.
    Here's my update for yesterday:

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining Area
    Level One
    Declutter and wipe those worksurfaces
    Sweep and mop the floor
    Level Two
Put away the special crockery/glasses you got out for christmas
    Clean the hob
    and oven (and microwave turntable)
Clean out the fridge.. – still too full, will aim for Saturday
Make stock/stew from leftovers – in slow cooker overnight
    Level Three
    Clean and wipe the table
Clean out the drawers which house the cutlery and the big utensils
    Dust and deweb
Wipe over the units and large appliances
    Extras
    1. wash windows
    2. Scrub the sink and polish the taps
    3. Scrub down any tiles that are looking icky
    4. Wipe over all the small appliances
    Also done:
DW now running for second time
Organized leaflets for paper round tomorrow
WM - yesterday’s load dried, x1 dried and folded, x2 dried, x3 to go on airer
Made soup from 2 tubs of reduced price root veg for roasting (roasted first) – in freezer
Making soup from 2 big bags of reduced price veg mix (need to blend and add bacon bits in morning)
Made turkey/ham/mushroom pie for tea with mash + fresh veg
Used part of the planned cellar shelving from I**a to build a tall shelf for the under stairs cupboard and tidied up cleaning supplies/spare toiletries etc. I can now find things quickly.
    Visited friends

Today's list to follow in a mo, small child allowing.

Why can people not put dvds back in the boxes??? Just spent 10 minutes sorting them out:rolleyes:
Also took a call from the lovely lady at next arranging delivery of our new TV:j We spent very little on each other at christmas, just got a token gift each and put the money to a new TV, got this one. It uses way less energy than our current plasma.

My HHC lasted for an hour.......during which I:

    WM & TD x1
rummaged through the "hot spot basket" next to the sofa and threw out odds and ends that should never have been there in the first place
Sorted and cleared three sections of the filing cabinet - mostly rubbish/recycling/shredding
shifted remaining Christmas packaging to the utility room on its way to the green bin....

Now having coffee - will be ready to go again at 10.30 when I will tackle the "list proper" rather than get sidetracked with filing cabinets and the like!!
